AMSOIL recommends 25,000 mile/1 year drains for non-turbo/non-diesel (AMSOIL filter change at 1/2 that) for 5W-30, 10W-30, 10W-40. The Series 2000 0W-30 has drain interval of 35,000 miles. For turbos, the recommendation is up to 3 times the recommended drain interval OR 1 year. I've confirmed that in my own Volvo turbo by oil analysis, but tend to err a bit on the side of extra safety, so change the turbo filters at 5K and the oil ) filter at 10K. I would be comfortable running Mobil 1 up to 15,000 miles in non-turbo. The rest of the brand name oils I would not try to extend the drain, unless I've taken oil samples for testing.
