There's no reason to change the tranny oil every 10K. It does not get contaminated with combustion byproducts like engine oil does. I put Amsoil 10W-30 or 10W-40 in it every 60K. You can easily go 30K with regular oil, or 60K with Red Line or other synthetic. -- John R.
