Subject: Re: gas mileage

I buy the cheapest gas I can find and for long highway trips in my 87 900T, I get about 500 miles for the 18 gal. tank. For tooling around, I usually have my gas light come on between 340-360 and then I know I have about 50 miles before I MUST refuel. For the short repetitive highway trips, the light comes on between 380-420. Note: I usually drive at a steady 75 mph. On some trips it is necessary to drive 90-95 just to keep with the flow....on those trips, the mileage is less.
