If everything is OK, should be fine. I bought an 88 9000T last Dec. The shop had gone through it completely, and it cost me a lot more, but it was worth it for me. You'll probably have some things to be taken care of later, but I've had fine results with used Saabs over the past 23 years. Be sure to keep up the fluid maintenance. The shop changed the engine and transmission to AMSOIL before I got it. I've changed the power steering fluid to AMSOIL synthetic ATF. Shop had recently done the brakes on it, and so it has new fluid there, and in the cooling system. Radio quit after a couple months, but I put in an aftermarket. Dick in Falls Church, Va
