My '94 900S 2.3L 4 cyl, with 40K miles, has had: oil changes every ~3K miles & other scheduled checkups brakes turned & pads replaced under warranty wheel alignment & balanced a few times under warranty wheels replaced under warranty (that fixed the balance problem) engine seal under warranty water pump recall 1 battery S belt & idler pulley 1 heater hose 1 headlight bulb wiper blade refills Overall, more expensive than maintaining an American car, and less reliable than a good Japanese, but I haven't regretted choosing it for a minute. It's a sports car, touring sedan, station wagon... whatever I want it to be.
