I bought a 1988 with 145.000 kms on it. In very good shape (all the major things replaced : head gasket, radiator, water pump, rear tires,...). All depends of course on how the previous owner treated his car. Better have it checked by a Saab mechanic. If they are taken care of, they will go on for ever.
