By the first years I mean the first years of the new 900/9-3 series (ie -94,-95 and -96). I think I read somewhere that Saab commented the quality with: -94 Below Saab standard -95 Good, but not up Saab standard -96 ????? If you are looking for an "old style" 900 I think it would be wise to look for a late one, as late as possible. The younger the car, the better the quality.
