For my 96 Aero, I have tried to always use Chevron Supreme because of the Techron. However, with gas prices skyrocketing, I have been using regular no name premium gas. Just recently my dad had to have his GMC van's carburetor overhauled. The mechanic said that one of the injectors was completely plugged. The van had 60k. Ok. So fuel injection is not exactly like a 4 bbl carburetor. But it did make me think that using gas with special cleaners may be worth it. Does anyone have an opinion about using Techron type gas?
