Other items they tinkered with was the defunct electric top for the convertible. Since then, GM has decided to leave the Swedes alone and let them do their thing. And I was glad to hear it, because faulty GM products is what drove me to SAAB. So, for good advice bring the car to the dealer for a check up (if you trust him) or a good Saab mechanic. -- John L.
