Hi, itīs not normal, that the AC is out of freon after 1 year, 3 years or 10 years! - There must be a leak. BUT it can be a hard, long process to locate it. I found out after 3 years that my evaporator has a hole - it almost took half a year until the refilled AC stopped working... Itīs quite normal that the compressor gets leaky (bearings) but on the S900 -93 itīs very often the evaporator!
