After 22k I am about to change my tranny oil in my 85 900T16. At the moment it has some EP90 API GL5 semi synthetic gear oil in. I have some mobil 1 spare at the moment and am wondering if I can use that instead. I have heard that synthetic engine oils are too slippery for the synchro's - is this true. I have also been aware that everyone raves about Redline MTL but I can't find a supplier here in England. Any advice on this well worn topic appreciated. John
