Not to be defeatest, but you've had so much use out of the car maybe its
time for a new one, look at how much it would cost to get everything which
was wrong replaced and working again, then compare it to the price of a
younger car. If the repair cost is above 75% of the cost of a new car then
maybe its time to start looking. Failing this check the thremostats and
other temp sensors, one went on my 88 900i and it kept thinking it was on
fire or something when the outside tempreture got above 16dc and cut the
fuel pump.
