So.......... > >*** What do you drive, and why? *** I drive in Japan, and drive a 1996 Subaru Legacy Touring Sedan RS, the 250hp/225ft/lb torque version. Currently running around 265hp, will hit 280 very soon... I drive it because 1) it fits in my parking spot, 2) there was not, and is not, a performance sedan that beats it's speed/handling/comfort/cost ratio (other than the newer B4 Legacy :), it's spacious and comfortable enough to hold our 4 person family comfortably, and it handles well enough that I'm happy - and I'm very hard to please when it comes to handling. : ) It had 10,000 kilometers when I bought it for about 15grand U.S. dollars. and most of all 3) Because, on my test drive, it was the first car ever that I felt instantly comfortable with. The only problem is that it's killed most of my desire for a Porsche 911 - the performance is nearly equal, a little slower off the line, a bit faster on the freeway. Probably much faster around the circuit for me, due to it's awd. Not the car, but the driver, in this case. : ) It's far uglier, however, so I may still get my dream car. : ) Paul Hansen -- Japan Sports Car - basic information about Japanese market sports cars, sedans, and yes, wagons http://www2.gol.com/users/polarbr/sportscar for some of my graphics, add /pbg ; )
