Well I can only hope that in the last 11 years, they have learned to improve these things... :o) One of my first cars was a 1979 Honda Civic and it was a serious P.O.S. The engine was dead at 134,000Km (84,000mi), it was very rusted, it had transmission problems, clutch cable problems, water pump died, radiator died, distributor died, it needed a valve job, gas pedal would stay stuck once in a while (no problem with a 45hp engine though!) had strut problems, brake problems, exhaust problems, gas tank was replaced, parking brake wouldn't hold the car but would stay stuck if you used it, the manual choke didn't work too well and carburetor icing was a serious problem here in Quebec winters. (I'm sure I'm forgetting something...) Need I say more? Daniel
