Our car beeps when we get out too, and we found that it was because we were pressing one of the memory buttons for the seat with our legs as we swiveled to exit the car. This would account for losing the memory on that particular setting. As for the shifter sticking in park, that is a known problem with the 9-5's. The solenoid must be replaced. If this happens and you must get moving immediately, you can depress the little rectangle on the upper left corner of the shifter panel with a key or screwdriver. This will release the shifter so that you can get out of "Park". This little tip is NOT in the manual :-p. Eve
