I have an 86 900s with 135,000 miles and the original clutch. Our car grinds when you put it in reverse, but if you put it in a forward gear first, then reverse that seems to help. Also, a swedish car mechanic told me of a fix which involved replacing a pin in the linkage of the clutch pedal that apparently gets sloppy and can cause the clutch not to disengage fully. k52t
