I just purchased a 89 9000S. Bought it in the NY Metro area (family is up there) and drove it down to Houston. I had the car checked before buying it so I felt good about driving it a long distance. Half down I noticed the "check engine" light intermittently flashing. No where in the manual could I find a mention of it in warning cluster. Does anyone know why? The brake light and ABS also would come on intermittently. Needless to I proceeded with caution. But I did find that the car needed a quart of oil.
