Subject: Re: Squeaky, noisy interior in '95 Conv.900

I have a '92 900 conv. Itused to have these squeaks from the front left side of the dash. We thought it wsa teh hood mechanism , but I now believe that it was the das creaking against the body. Anyway, it eventually went away. My guess is that the convert. body has a bit more flex to it than the rest of them and these things are always going to shift a little more. You could try a _little_ WD-40 (or other light lubricant) at those joints. (try spraying it on a Q_tip first) If they are going to move anyway, why should they _have_ to make noise while they do it? >Subject: Squeaky, noisy interior in '95 Conv.900 >From: Aaronson carambaciousnopsamo.com >Date: Tue, 27 July 1999 05:05 PM EDT >Message-id: <379E1EFF.650C1889nopsamo.com> > >The car still looks new, but what gives away its age is the sounds I >(and guests) hear on less-than-perfect streets.
