Subject: Re: Saab 9-5 Problems?

We had intermittent seat memory problems along with several other small computer/software glitches. SAAB replaced a bunch of electronics and the problems have not recurred. What electronics, you ask. I think it was the main control unit, and the climate control unit. I should like to think your dealer/mechanic (nice if they are the same!) would make the swap for you on your word alone. SAAB has long has problems with electrical, and now electronic things, but they are MUCH better. Several salespeople have told me that the cup-holder does at least half of their work for them. You might look at the ratchet mechanism of the arm rest and figure some way to jam/retard it. I got no Disney mirror -- what do you mean? (G). Kirby.
