SAAB -89 fan confusion I can tell you how the fans work on my -89 900 16V with AC but no Turbo. When the A/C is disengaged and the engine temp rises above 2/3 of the temp gauge both fans will start running. When I run the AC one fan runs all the time and both fans start running when the A/C pump engages, so one is on all the time and the second goes on and off. Hope this info is usefull / Ulf
