The main choices in the 215/50-16 size are the BFG G-Force T/A KDW or the Michelin Pilot HX MXM which both run in the $150+ per tire neighborhood. The sidewall construction also has a significant influence on ride quality (or lack thereof). If it's a soft ride you're seeking, a 205/55-16 offers significantly more touring tire choices. -Doug
