On my 86 900T when I removed the moldings on the door, the "square "holes
were already there. Normally to the rear of the rear tires, and front of
the front tires the holes are there to hold the moldings. I think the
Turbos are pre drilled, I checked some non Turbos and they did not have the
holes. The holes are covered inside the door by somr type of tape, you
have to pull part of the molding to check for the holes.
SAAB wants $1.00 each for the plastic grommets that go in the holes to take
the sheet metal screws that hold the rails, I went to PEP BOYS and at $1.29
for a box of 5 did the same job.
