Bill: Thanks for the input. I have a small Craftsman set that I bought long ago. You're right--works just fine. It's only real problem is all the gaps in wrench and socket sizes as well as not having some larger sized wrenches and sockets. I understand your point about avoiding toolsets with all the do-dads that I'd never use. Good strong, reliable wrenches and sockets completely covering a wide range (better than 24 mm) is what I want. I've heard the high-end tools last longer, but I'm not really a mechanic, the tools are not used full-time, so that's just not an issue for me. They will last me forever. I think Sears is having a sale on tools right now thru Sunday. Very good discounts. Why the 9-5 over the Viggen?
