John, Most of the OEM Saab shocks I've seen are made by Sachs. Sachs also sells shocks under the brand name "Boge", and they are pretty readily available. I'd use the Boge "turbo gas" ones for a good match. If you want a really high-quality shock, but with a stiffer ride, Bilstein is the best. I'd stay away from most of the cheaper brands (Monroe, NAPA, Sears, etc.), they're often not very durable, and the car won't handle as well.
