--------------0F920DCC264BB1F4BBF90507 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I have a 1995 Saab 900SE Automatic. The Transmission is shifting very hard from 1st to 2nd gear. When it shifts the car jerks forward a little and there is a loud kind of thump sound. My firend's car (1996 Mazda 626 LX V6 Automatic) had a similar problem and it turned out that something wrong with the clutch was causing the problem. Anyways, when ever the car shifts I lift up on the accelerator and it shifts much more smoothly, but the car still smoothly jerks forward a little. Is this a major problem? How long can I run the car like this? How much would repairs cost? If any one can answer these questions please respond. Thanks. Also- I recently got into a small fender bender which opened up my bumper cover and deformed the bumper itself. I live in Houston, TX and I have practically called every junkyard in town and could not find one bumper or bumper cover. If anyone knows of any place (junkyard) in the US that has a bumper for a 1994-1998 Saab 900 please inform me thanks!
