I have a 1983 900 Turbo with 150,000 miles. I bought the car at 30,000 miles and by 40,000 miles started using Moble-1 10w-30. The engine and turbo are original and untouched to this day. Most of the oil/filter changes were at 3,000 mile intervals (overkill I know, but I loved the car!) but have been doing 5,000 recently. I used Fram most of the miles but the last few years could not find them in stores and used whatever brand was availible. I just found them at K-mart so will return to them next oil change. Mechanically I am very happy, but I wish Saab could make the driver seats last longer!
