Subject: Oil Pressure Light




My Oil Pressure Warning Light on came on today and remains on at all times
while the engine is running.  

The manual says  "If the oil light stays on, do not drive the vehicle under any
circumstances,  even if the oil level is correct,  as severe engine damage can
result.."

My oil level is good.  But the light still remains on.  What could be the
problem/remedy for this?
