I have the very same on my 900i 16. As soon as the oil pressure lamp goes off, the noise is gone. But in my case it's audible if the engine speed is higher than 2500/min, in every gear. I thought it was one of the valve actuators but was wrong. Since it's definitely dealing with oil pressure I'm afraid it's one of the rod bearings, yet this isn't easy to confirm. JK'99
