On Sun, 15 Aug 1999 13:50:12 +0200, just as I was about to see how much duct tape you REALLY need to stop a gerbil from exploding, ben.gurionNOSPAMnopsamnet (ben g.) distracted me by babbling thusly: >well, i'd like to give it a try ('88 900T 16V), but before, I'd like to >know....: >-do you change the overall boost that way, or just the max... Maximum boost pressure. >-where is your APC needle at max..... Well I took it out onto the open highway this afternoon. Full throttle in fifth, hit around 150km/h before the tight curves came up, and it went half-way into the red zone. I was really impressed by the engine feel. Very eager power delivery. Before adjusting it, the needle only went part way into the yellow zone... didn't even reach the vertical. >-how do you know you don't fry your engine...... Simple... we were cruising at 180km/h on the way back and nothing exploded :)
