Jim, your post didn't say 900 or 9k... so if it's a 9kT then you have a two speed cooling fan and a A/C fan. the two speed cooling fan is controled by a sensor mounted into the radiator (lower left side). it has two different "switches" within it for normal and high temp. is not uncommon that the low temp "swtich" goes bad, thus the cooling is controlled by only the high temp sensor. a quick observation, if the fan continues to run after the car is turned off, its a good thing because that indicates that the 10 minute delay timer and low speed fan are working properly. if the fan stops when you shut off the car, the low temp sensor or fan or delay relay is bad. a quick check would be to supply ground to the wires running from the sensor, you should see/hear the fans running. larry John Weiss wrote: > It sounds like it's working correctly. > > IIRC, only the older, non-air-conditioned 900s used a single fan.
