Ron, Sounds like you got some water in your starter motor. Or possibly (but much less likely) you sprayed it hard enough that you knocked the wire off the solenoid. I'd check that all the wires are properly connected to the starter (driver's side, near front of motor, under intake manifold). If they are, you're probably looking at a starter replacement.
