And a few years before that the didn't come with airbags and a few (well) years before that they didn't come with a safety belt etc etc. And whether Saab owners and other drivers are smart enough to turn on the lights when it's getting dark, I can assure you that there are plenty of people that doesn't. They drive around without lights as long as the themself can see due to street lights and similar, but then the will miss pedestrians and others will miss them. OK, this doesn't mean you have to have lights on at daytime expect if you as I live in Sweden where it's law, but I think it's easier to estimate the distance to another car if it has lights on and also if it's moving or not. Might be that I'm used to have it like that. / Andreas
