Brad: I have the same issue. not quite red but almost there. I think Saab just made these cars where the fan doesn't come on until the line is in the danger zone, which is not good for driver confidence - shame on you SAAB! However, you probably have a bad switch is preventing the fan to work. However, what ever you do, you'll have to live with that indicator in the danger zone. Just make sure it doesn't go in the red zone.
