Subject: Re: Trionic info

It's a Saab subsystem, i.e. Saab has implemented most of the S/W. Who produces the elecronics I don't know but the Trionic replaced a Bosch box in 1993 for the 9000 turbos. Detail: I think the Trionic was the first application for the Motorola TPU (Time Processing Unit) used in the 68340. There are a few facts at http://www.mecel.com/html/engine___powertrain1.htm Jan Soderberg Andy wrote in message ... >I've become interested in the Trionic susbsystem which runs my 99 9-3SE. >I started searching the 'net tonight, and only found a couple of newsgroup >postings about it. The postings suggest that the Trionic is a Bosch >product, but I could find no mention of it on their web page, neither >English nor German.
