Subject: Re: Are there any SAAB 9000 CS owners?

Just bought a 1993 9000 CS (having driven an '87 Toyota pickup for the last 8 years) with only 73K miles. So far, it's great. Bought if from a rich relative (who bought it new in '93) for only $6500...which makes a great car even better better... The only thing not working was the cruise control. When I took the car in for the SRS recall, I asked them to look at the cruise. While the cruise light would come on the SET button wouldn't work. They said a minimum of $75 to look at the problem. They called back in 30 minutes and said it was a stuck switch on the clutch...$30. Deal! If you are ever in the chicago area and are in need of Saab work, Flikkema Saab (Torrence Ave and I-80/94) seemed quite fair...how often do dealers charge you less than the initial estimate? -John On 19 Aug 1999, KPM MBM wrote: > Keith > 1995 9000 CS > Best car I've ever owned > > I am not too mechanical so I can't help with technical stuff.
