Dean, I had an 83 900T for over 13 years. I used nothing but Castrol GTX 10W30 for the first 197,234 miles. I changed the oil every 20,000 to 25,000 miles in the 5 spd. In January 94 I tried Militec-1 for the first time in the engine and 5 spd. Militec-1 made a major difference. When the oil was drained prior to the fresh oil and Militec-1 being put in, the magnetic drain plug had the typical metal particles on it. When the changed the oil after 25,000 miles, there were no metal particles on the drain plug, and the 5 spd shifted a lot easier. Unfortunately the car was totalled in August 95. I replaced it with an 87 900S 16V 5 spd. I put Militec-1 in that engine and 5 spd too, with the same results. I lost that car to an accident in 12/97. I currently have an 87 9000S 5 spd, and yes, I have Militec-1 in the engine, 5 spd, power steering and my A/C compressor. The Nay Sayers will have few words to say to doubt. I have been using Militec-1 for over 5 years. Why? Because it works as advertised. You can check www.apdinc.com. No I don't buy mine from them. I get mine at the base auto parts store.
