Of course a STUDDED tire is going to perform better than the Alpins,
Blizzaks and various other snow tires...

But check your legislation; I'm pretty sure there are probably a lot
of restrictions on where you can (and can't) drive with studded tires.

What sort of warranty do the Nokian's (or Gislaveds) have?  I can't
find anything on the web site.
