Really bad problem! Obviously a blockage in either the filter or lines to/from the filter. A plugged filter is not unheard of. Be really careful with this one. If you have tried replacing the filter (including the metal washer that comes with the OEM SAAB filters) I would not even start the engine again. Have it towed to your mechanic and have the plug resolved. Best case, the oil is re-circulating without being filtered. Worst case is oil starvation. Either way, the engine may run well for a while but it will eventually catch up with you. "Pay me now, or pay me later" I really suggest paying for it now.
