So when you insert the CD magazine, it doesn't stay inserted? That sounds like a mechanical problem with the changer that should be fixed by whoever you bought it from (assuming it's under warranty). You can get parts for the player here: http://www.pacparts.com/ When you plug and unplug the connector at the changer, does it make noise as if to check for CDs?
