Subject: Windows help wanted for 9000 CD

Dear homo Saabiens, I am glad to discover this newsgroup and I hope you can help me out. I just own a Saab 9000 CD from 1990 for 2 months and I really love this car. Shitty thing is that the driver window is a trouble right now. It was mailfuctioning so now and then but for now it is really dead. I tried to run some checks with common sence but no results . All windows run fine just the most important one. - I measured +12 Volts and -12 Volts at the connector in the door while hitting the switch. - I tried to switch the switches in the console but the connector for the driver window is different because of the the option to run down the window all the way at once ........ This was coming on hard to me <g> - I even switched the engines without removing the rest of the mechanical stuff. I feel kind of helpless without technical data or circuit schemes. What I really wanna know if there are more "checkpoints" to see and if there are relais involved in the electrical circuit or am I missing something else. Hope one of you can help me out Thanks Michel
