You know... every time someone mentions actually using a Saab to perform, somebody always seems to come back with this. One of my recent comments about Saab performance elicited email from some "cautious members of society". Now, I actually drive my Saab sensibly the majority of the time, but sometimes it's nice to break loose and actually push the car to do what it was built to do; perform. Personally I feel that I should be allowed to drive my car as I please within reason without having people trying to preach to me about their driving philosophy. I consider myself a tolerant man, but evangelists of any kind really get my back up. Keep driving your Saab the way you feel comfortable. If you need to use the power to pass a truck that will be slower on the uphill than you, then by all means do it. I think they're fantastic cars and my 900 is actually the first car I've ever owned that I feel is the "right" car for me; and I plan to run the poor little bugger into the ground. OTOH with the reliability of Saab engines that might take a LOOOOOONG time! Plus, the Saab's a great car for ferrying around my family and their "stuff" :) -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com http://home.earthlink.net/~hackrat "Ahhhh...
