It sounds like an excellent deal, but as the note above says, make certain to dot the i's and cross the t's. In other words, make certain that the base price of the vehicle is what you think it should be. Make certain that the residual price is acceptable. With the interest and residual of the loan, I ended up getting a SE HOT for about 2500 less than invoice (when I included options, etc.) I'm leasing and may buy depending on how I feel at the end of the three years. As far as the HOT vs the regular SE versions, I suggest driving them to see if you like them. I really like the HOT, and it has different suspension, engine and gearing from the regular 9-3. It also includes almost every available option on the car. Similar to you, I rented an SE after my car was stolen and after driving it for a few weeks, I knew I wanted a Saab. When I drove the HOT, I realized that it was the Saab I wanted. Good luck with your shopping! Alan... Norman L.
