It is interesting that you drove for 7 months with torn boots and did not have any problems. The second interesting bit of information is that someone would actually steal a Saab. I read on the Insurance Institute report that the Saabs were the least likely to be stolen car. I guess the joke is on the thief. He will never steal another Saab after the CV joints lock up on him.
