After my wife drove the 86 900 for about two weeks she noticed the steering was stiff. When I checked the power steering fluid, it was dry. After filling with fluid steering remains stiff until after car has run for awhile. Here are my questions: Is this related to power steering unit or rack and pinion? Can the r&p be lubed? Haynes manual says to bleed system by turning wheels (which I've done), is there another way to do this? Can this make the Check Engine light come on? How do I get that damn light to go out?
