Subject: 9000 vs 900

I had a head vs. heart question Should I trade my 1994 9000 CDE (saloon, non turbo) with 83000 miles for a 1991 900 LPTS 5 Door with 115,000 miles ? I've always liked the 'classic' Saab 900, but I couldn't find a good 5 door one when I was looking, so I got the 9000 as it was good condition and mileage I do 20,000 miles per year and was worried that all the 900s had sky high miles (I didn't want to be paying out too much on timing chains, turbos and gearbox overhauls) The non turbo 9000 is not fast, it's heavy and looks boring too, but it's very comfortable, (with aircon, CD, wood), safe and reliable, and different to all the BMWs, Audis etc. How would a 900 LPTS stand up in comparison Am I daft to get a car 3 years old, and with 30,000 more miles ? Am I taking a major step back in safety, (9000 has SRS and is a newer, bigger car), and maintenance cost (6K service intervals vs. 12,000) My 9000, and the 900 I'm thinking about have full history, the 900 is on sale at the Saab (non franchise) specialist that I bought my 9000 from Anyone got an opinion on this, anyone had both ? Thanks for your advice Chris
