I am not going to get a Saab because I do not think they are as well proven as the Volvo's that we have always had, I do like the design of them the cost of ownership seems to be very high, also my mechanic, who is great told me I am asking for trouble when buying a Saab(he also said to find a new mechanic if I do) and that they are not worth the trouble. He also says that they are so oddly built it takes longer for them to be fixed and the Saab dealership around us(actually a Cadillac Dealer) I have never really trusted, And the Saab/Volvo shop a few miles away is really expensive. I am looking at a car in the 95-96 model year range and it looks like Saab can not compare (IMHO) to what Volvo had at that time, a large comfortable (reliable) sedan.
