Truly parking takes the development of new skills but, I've witnessed people who've learned on a standard having great difficulty with auto boxes and vice versa. Everywhere else it's terrific. The clutch action is faster and smoother than I am and the operation is transparent. Change gears fast, slow... anyway I want. It operates flawlessly without a second thought. Until I get stuck in a traffic jam... then I start blowing kisses at it for being such a lovely device. My (non SAAB) car nut friends didn't notice anything unusual when I gave them rides. After driving around for some time I'd tell them and they honestly wouldn't believe me. I'd have to bring my left leg way back and do some stops and starts before they'd begin to accept the truth. Rumor has it that SAAB are working on an improved version. The only improvement needed that I can see is providing a 'parking mode' that has a little 'creep' like an auto box to make parking less of a new experience. I *love it*. I would have bought a new car by now but I don't want to give it up. All the best, Tom '96 900 SE turbo senso koopay (or koop if you prefer... personally I think it's a two door hatchback)
