The windshield will support the weight of 2 saabs.... Hmm, suppose that's true, will it support the weight of 2 saabs on one corner of the windshield? What about just one saab, but dropped from a height of 2 feet? Let's not forget that the dynamic forces in a rollover wreck are very large, and I'm sure a roll bar and windshield would be much safer than a windshield alone.
