How are you changing the oil in the gearbox on later 900's (1990 - 1993) as my 1991 16v hasn't got a drain plug or dip stick like my 1986 8v. So I pumped most of the oil out (Used an old bycycle pump with the washers turned about) but that probably left the sludge in the bottom! I also suspect that the oil had never been changed in the life of the car (118,000 miles) Anybody retro fitted a drain plug? Anybody know of a better way of getting the oil out?
