Whether it is the 2.0L or 2.3L, from what I have seen motor mounts, upper and lower, seem to last depending on how clean you keep your engine. Oil seems to be the culprit that breaks down the rubber in the lower mounts, and once they go the upper mounts will surely follow. The lower mounts had to be replaced on my 87 9000S before I would buy it at 145,890. I replace the uppers after and keep the engine pretty clean. I have 177,681 on the car now and so far so good. As for the lower control arm bushings, I had mine replaced at about 162,000 miles. The car took on a new personality. It road smoother, the steering was tighter and the uneven tire wear I had in the front disappeared.
